Backpacking…

I don’t even know where to start… In the last few weeks I have been in Istanbul, Amsterdam, Riga, the Baltic sea coast, Germany, and now Budapest. to start… someone stole my camera batteries in Istanbul (just the batteries) kind of funny actually. I bought new batteries but when I was in Amsterdam my camera broke… I think. It doesn’t seem to be working so I think that means it is broken. Unfortunately I have not been able to take many pictures. Ance took a ton in Latvia but I have not been able to document the rest of this adventure. I do have stories though, many many good stories!

Freak thunderstorm on my last night in Blagoevgrad

The weather has been PERFECT the last few weeks….and suddenly a giant thunderstorm. I think this is a sign that I should bring my raincoat on my backpacking trip.

Tomorrow is the last day

Tomorrow is the last day at AUBG. :( Ance left this morning to go back to Latvia. Tomorrow Janel and I are leaving for Istanbul! packing…. F.

may 8-11 Holland

may 11-16 Latvia

may 16-22 Germany

may 22-? Hungary (The flight from Hamburg to Budapest cost 8 euros! flights within Europe are ridiculously cheap)

?-may 29 spontaneous B-packing adventures

now to get through finals week… I am going to be sad to leave AUBG but this month of travel softens the blow quite a bit :) excited is an understatement

Only two weeks left at AUBG??? what?

Two more weeks of classes at AUBG and then I am traveling for most of May with Janel… AKA epic B-packing euro trip (sooo excited). I cannot believe how fast this semester went by. I LOVE AUBG. I can’t even explain how much I am going to miss it and especially all the friends that I made. Although I am a little excited to go back home, I miss my friends and it will be kind of nice to be back in a country where cab drivers don’t smoke cigarettes with the windows rolled up. I am so so so so glad I came here. Best decision of my whole life and that is not an exaggeration in any way. jrghjdhgkjahkjghghadghakghkdahgjandjgnadkjghakj!!!!! I drank a lot of coffee this morning. By the way, I will be home the end of May in case anyone cares.
